Mallory is one of three OST Enrichment Coaches through the OST Initiative. The goal of the Out‐of‐School Time (OST) Initiative is to build and sustain the organizational and staff capacity of Central Iowa OST programs to provide high quality learning activities before school, after school and over the summer. The OST Enrichment Coaches work to provide technical assistance and professional development to youth serving organizations within the Polk, Dallas, and Warren counties. The primary focus of the work is to improve quality of activities, staff competency, and quality of resources available.

Mallory has a background in pharmaceutical research and education, and received her MPA with a focus on non-profit management in 2018. Additionally, she has several years experience working in the OST environment in Central Iowa.
