Attendees will be given the opportunity to learn more about Human Trafficking and work that is occurring in Polk County, IA. Professionals from the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Southern District will discuss a collaborative approach to child sex trafficking from the lens of the Prosecution. Members of the Polk County Commercial Exploitation of Children (CSEC) Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) will discuss how the team approach to human trafficking creates a collaborative partnership of community professionals to not only combat the issue of trafficking tut also prevent children from initial exploitation.
