Learn how Des Moines Public Schools uses social-emotional learning data from research-backed screeners to inform staff development, before and after school programming, and student supports. In this session, we'll dig into recent and emerging research around how students with strong SEL skills demonstrate success in school and beyond. Together, we'll explore the ways that promoting strong SEL in adults and students closes gaps between student groups and promotes equity in schools.
