Participants will analyze the positive outcomes of using a trauma sensitive school model which increases the mental health of all classroom participants.  Flex Academy, a high school credit recovery program, will begin its fourth year of trauma sensitive program implementation.  Information about Flex Academy data trends, the teacher professional development plan, and strategic environmental designs will be shared.  We will also discuss the significance of applying mindful action, psychological flexibility, and the cognitive triangle as essential tools to achieve and sustain meaningful work as an educator.
