Barb Adams is the principal at Findley Elementary in Des Moines Public Schools. Her strong advocacy of fostering an environment of distributed leadership coupled with core values of communication and collaboration have been key elements in building a culture of student-centered learning. Aligning this work with Findley's mission of "Building Big Dreamers and High Achievers" has been instrumental as the learning community strives to become a school of rigor. Barb received a bachelor's degree from the University of Nebraska, a master's degree at Drake University, and a PhD at Iowa State University.
